The Tektronix P6045 Probe is a high gain-bandwidth low-capacitance 1X probe designed for use with oscilloscope systems having either high-impedance inputs or 50-ohm inputs. The prove itself has a high input impedance achieved by means of a field-effect transistor built into the probe tip, followed by amplifier and DC offset circuits. Overall bandwidth is from DC to approximately 230 megahertz. Operation of the P6045 requires the use of a separate power source. Correct operating voltages for the P6045 are provided by the Tektronix 015-0073-00 Accessory Power Supply unit.
