The 70429AK95 is an accessory used in conjunction with the Agilent E5505A Phase Noise System or an E8257D/E8267D Synthesized Signal Generator to improve the phase noise performance. An RF frequency range of 25.6 MHz to 10 GHz is input to the 70429AK95 from the signal generator. The output frequency of the 70429AK95 is the result of the divide number; set by configuring the appropriate switches on the 70429AK95 or by connecting to an external switch unit, such as an Agilent 34970A. The 70429AK95 has two output paths. One has an output frequency range of 100 kHz to 5 GHz. The second output goes through an amplifier and has a frequency range of 100 kHz to 1.6 GHz. A differential output with a frequency range of 100 kHz to 5 GHz is available by removing the jumper to the input of the amplifier.
