Description
The NSG5004A-25 has been generally designed for use within the Automotive industry and, as such, is normally driven by a NSG5000, NSG5500, NSG5200 and NSG5600 series instrument. The NSG5004A-25 is capable of ±30V, 25A. It is programmed using a differential input voltage and has a gain of -3.75 (i.e. it is an inverting amplifier). A 1 - 10V differential input allows the NSG5004A-25 output current capability to be programmable from 10% of maximum current to full current, regardless of the configuration. This is useful for protecting the DUT from power overload, in DUT fail situations. The instrument operates from 90 VAC to 264 VAC and is factory configured to the correct mains input voltage. The NSG5004A-25 is housed in a 7U 84HP chassis. Notes on system requirements: The NSG5000 and NSG5500 require the INA5027 Arbitrary Waveform Generator card. The NSG5200 requires a ARB522x series Arbitrary Waveform Module. The NSG5600 requires a FG562x series Arbitrary Waveform Module. Consult your sales representative for complete details.
