This instrument, the SG5050, was a replacement design for a unit that was obsolete and could no longer be built. NLS Technology used the existing unit's case and front panel, but completely redesigned and simplified the internal electronics. The internal electronics were reduced from 10 circuit cards to just 3. The instrument's capabilities were also greatly enhanced. Our design produced extremely accurate sine waves used to calibrate oscilloscopes. It had a frequency range of 10KHz to 2.5GHz, an amplitude range of -44 to +18 dbm, and an accuracy of .1dbm.
