The ATS-8 is ideal for custom testing of multi-phase motors, wiring harnesses and other applications where up to 8 points must be checked for hipot or continuity. Differential mode testing allows any point in the circuit to be tested to any other point, up to 28 tests per sequence. Easy rear-panel programming. Custom configurations feature AC or DC testing, custom reporting and up to 5000 VAC or 7200 VDC. This unit performs all the production line dielectric withstand tests required by UL CSA and CE Standards. Provided with custom setup to customer requirements, manual and pigtail leads. 2-channel tester is stock; 8 channels max.

• Custom outputs of up to 2000 VAC, 2800 VDC, 5000 VAC and 7200 VDC at maximum leakage current levels of up to 80 mA. Provided with arc detection circuit for proper detection of dielectric breakdowns
• Operates in Full Differential Mode; that is, the ATS-8 does not have a fixed Test Return point. For example, motor windings can be checked for continuity, then a dielectric test can be conducted between all windings and/or ground in sequence by programming the rear panel DIP switches. Cables can be tested by setting the rear panel DIP switches to test each cable conductor for continuity and then conduct a dielectric test between all conductors in sequence
• Logic Controlled, One-button testing. LED indicators. Buzzer upon failure, Test terminates. Green PASS indicators and red FAIL indicator help with troubleshooting. Results displayed until RESET button is pressed
• Rear panel adjustments; leakage limit, ramp time, test time and voltage
• Dielectric and Ground Continuity tests between stations are programmed on the rear panel and the test sequence is performed sequentially after the Test button is pushed
