Description
The 83495A is a clock recovery module for the 86100 Infiniium Digital Communications Analyzer. It provides both optical and electrical continuous clock recovery for all rates from 9.953 Gb/s to 11.32 Gb/s which includes the emerging standard of 10Gb Ethernet with FEC. The 83495A also provides three ways to trigger from the incoming signal allowing for device characterization or compliance testing - a narrow and wide loop bandwidth, and the ability to trigger directly off the incoming data.

Optical clock recovery for either 9/125 or 62.5/125 fibers

  • Electrical clock recovery with 3.5 mm (m) connectors
  • Wavelength range: 1000-1600 nm (9/125) or 750-680 nm (62.5/125)
  • Data rates: 9.953 to 11.32 Gb/s
  • PLL bandwidth: 300 kHz / 4 MHz (user selectable)
