The N9062A SCPI command language compatibility measurement application is one in a common library of more than 25 measurement applications in the Agilent X-Series signal analyzers, an evolutionary approach to signal analysis that spans instrumentation, measurements and software. Transforming the X-Series signal analyzers into SCPI commands compatibility mode, the application enables the X-Series signal analyzers to emulate the FSP/FSU/FSE spectrum analyzers in remotely controlled, automated test equipment (ATE) systems.
Emulate rules and limitations
Emulate the remote operation of the FSP/FSU/FSE spectrum analyzers for the most commonly used commands needed for basic spectrum analyzer functions; it does not support instrument modes beyond the core spectrum analyzer mode
Match the data format from trace queries to the FSP/FSU/FSE for the most common data formats (ASCII, Binary 32)
